What can be said, but: WOW! More on these numbers after the THANKS and ATTA-BOYS we need to extend to all the writers and sponsors who attended the Media Conference last week.
Pradco Brands: Bomber Saltwater Grade Lures, Pure Fishing: All Star Rods, Pflueger Reels, Penn Reels, Stren Mono, Stealth Braid, Team Marine: Venting Tools, Knot Tools, Frog Pee Oils, Mustad Hooks: Custom Pliers, Braid tools, Filet Knives, High Mountain Products, Steiner Optics, Columbia Sports Ware: Wild Life Energy Drinks, and a BIG THANK YOU to Chevrolet for all the great Trucks and SUV’s brought in to shuttle the attendees back and forth from the airport. G-Man ( LOL) you saved us multi trips back and forth with your untiring effort in making sure a truck or SUV was in place at all times for these folks. Again: Shirley and I thank you. A big thanks to our Fl. Capts’. For the 4:00 AM wake up call to assure the pig roast was complete in time for dinner that night. Great JOB!!!
Now to our report: I’ll repeat WOW!!!!!! Watch the print media and TV next year for photos and video of some really out standing summer trout catches. Yes those numbers represent trout sizes caught and released during this event. Our boys (guides) put these folks on some outstanding large trout and many will grace the pages of some of the most prominent publications across the nation. Most of the larger trout came from 2 to 3 feet of water. All were caught on products provided by the attending sponsors; please visit their respective web sites to see all the product lines. Colors varied from red head white body, to bone/chartreuse, pinfish and numerous others. Many attendees caught their personal best trout and not to forget our Fl. Capt’s who caught both their personal best trout you should see what happens from Nov. thru Feb.!!!!!
Not to be out done: the one day we were able to get offshore provided us with some great snapper on the half shell along with AJ and grouper. Again many of these fish were caught on jigs provided by Bomber Saltwater Grade Products, and Mustad Hooks.
Yes! There were plenty of salt water carp caught (REDFISH) all caught on the same products.
Last but not least, a BIG HEART FELT THANKS our great friend, Bill and his staff with Majesty Outdoors. You guys always light up a room and event with your blessed Mission Statement keep up the great work and sorry you didn’t get the two Tarpon to the boat.
Momma Getaway: MY bride Shirley has to be the most understanding and hardest working person I know. GOD BLESS YOU HONEY and THANKS for all you went thru to assure these folks every need was attended too! A big thanks also goes out to all our guides and Stephanie for donating the time and effort to accommodate these folks and assuring a great event.
Please remember if you keep the larger trout we will not have fish like these to share. Keep the little ones and release the larger ones, little ones they taste better.
