Maybe I'm being naive but it seems to me that 1.5 mil. would not be to difficult to raise. I'm certain there are people like myself all over the state who would be more than happy to assist in any fundraising needed to reach that goal. Could try (again) to hit CCA or an organization like them up for a grant.
