Re: LURES!!!!! Im no captain by any means but I have been having success on Plumtruese colored sand eels or brown lures and bone!! those are my go to lures.. i also throw alot a rootbeer colored brown sea devil that does pretty well!! my 2 cents!!

Re: TOPWATERS i will agree.... and they work great in some wind.... i caught 5 25 inch trout in febuary/march on that big ol plug... all caught and released!! thought i might add that!!... its a heavy one to throw through!! but worth it!! stopped throwing that big...

Re: TOPWATERS You know the one color dad and I never talk about but we use quite a bit is a Pink skitterwalk.  They're deadly in the right conditions and are somewhat muted in sunlight and bright in lowlight conditions.I have cuaght some great fish on them.
