Re: Traveling to Mansfield tomorrow, any help is appreciated! I was told that the reds would not really come up under the lights, but I would love to get into some trout.  I appreciate everyone's help and can't wait to see some of the beautiful country...

Re: Traveling to Mansfield tomorrow, any help is appreciated! Anything white on a 1 sized hook.  I like to keep the lure high in the water column so I can watch them eat!!!Do not expect too many reds under the lights...trout's domain!

Re: Traveling to Mansfield tomorrow, any help is appreciated! I agree with putawaywet's reply, in fishing "the lights," smaller, lighter lures have usually worked better for me--that's why flies work well.  Another effective lure is the Yozuri Crystal Minnow...

Re: Traveling to Mansfield tomorrow, any help is appreciated! Go to harbor bait and get some 'spec rigs'. Get the silliest, brightest colors, chunk them out past the lights and jig them at varying speed and depth. Fly fishing the lights at night is a blast...
