Texas Saltwater Fishing Guide

How's the fishin in this areas Well have recently been out to Port Mansfield to do some fishing around the Benie Shack & Saucer Areas but not had much luck.. What is the secret to this areas cause I here alot about this areas being top producers... What should I look...

Re: FISHING LINES Caun (red Line)  10# test for me, 12# or 14# for clients.  I don't like braid on trout...especially bigger ones.  I like the stretch factor mono allows.

Re: THE LURES I like the norton sand eels in red and white tails also rootbeer with chartures tail do not forget the brownlures now at academy .Texas trout killers in the same colors and the gulps in white.  Hard baits i like top waters and cordel broke backs in gold...

Re: wade fishing reels Stick with Shimano. Best reels ever made. I fish several Curado's, a Curados BSF and a Bantam Chronarch. I keep a Calcuta 250 as a backup reel in my tackle bag. Some maintenace required, awesome reels. 😉
