Boat type for Port Mansfield

We are going to Port Mansfield next week and wondering which boat to bring. We have a 17ft Mako and a 15ft aluminum marsh fishing rig. We have used the little aluminum boat for saltwater fishing before in South Louisiana. Basically not sure about the water depth and the Mako. I believe it has a 9″ draft (but the 115 outboard is obviously not jacked up). Or with either boat work ok?
